| Our May social and meeting will be held on Wednesday, May 8 at the historic Palmer Lake Town Hall, 42 Valley Crescent Street. Our dinner will be catered by Palmer Lake’s own O’Malley’s Steak Pub with a menu of BBQ pulled pork brisket sliders, cole slaw, potato salad, baked beans, corn bread and peach cobbler. A vegetarian option of a portobello mushroom sandwich, with sides, is available as well. The cost for the meal is $35 including tax a gratuity. Water and lemonade will be provided by the club. You may bring your own beer or wine. No hard liquor, please.
Dave Paauw, a professional dance instructor from Denver, will instruct us in country swing. You can pair up with a partner, a friend, a stranger to enjoy this dance! After our instruction and time to practice our country swing skills, PJ (Peter Jefferson) our PPOTHG DJ, will play dance music from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s as well as current awesome dance music for the rest of the night! Bring your dance shoes and enjoy the evening with good food and good friends!
