Social – Fox Run Regional Park

Announcing our annual Country Cowboy brisket and potluck!

When: August 14 |  5:30 social, 5:50 meeting, 6:00 dinner, 7:00-8:00 dancing, wrap-up by 830

Where:  Beautiful, shady, Fox Run Park, Pavilions 1 and 2

What: Rudy’s will be providing the brisket and we will have Barb, our country dancing instructor, teaching line dancing and playing a few tunes for our couples to dance to.

Bring

• your favorite brisket summer side dishes (beans, salad, fruit, whatever says summer) to share with your PPOTHG friends, enough for 8. For our vegetarian members, a stuffed portabella mushroom will be offered and designated for you. (Spinach, red pepper/onion, tomato sauce and cheese).
• your own discrete beverage in a non-glass, closed container and be respectful of the park’s rules and guidance.
• a camp chair to give yourself some sittin’ space in between food and dances in the trees.

Wear your hat, boots, jeans, whatever feels right for the evening.  The pavilions will be lit at dusk for evening dancing and socializing and designated with balloons at the pavilion 1 sign.  Plenty of parking is close by.

Cost is $12 per person and includes brisket/portabella, sauces, bread, our instructor and lemonade/water, whether you are eating or not.
