Hike description: This hike, just outside of Cañon City is a combination of two routes, taking us along the edge of the Royal Gorge for stunning views. In several places, often called the “banana belt” for its mild temperatures, this hike reveals panoramic, gorgeous views of the Sangre de Christos as well as the interior of the Gorge, and the Arkansas River below. No park fee is required.
