Hike description: This hike starts at the Mount Dewey Trail and follows the canyon side from the northeast side to the west side where it intersects with Catamount Reservoir Trail. The interesting thing is the south facing slope has shorter vegetation and cactus while the northern facing slope is heavily wooded. This trail is well marked with beautiful views at the top of Mount Dewey. You may be lucky and see some early wildflowers and a waterfall.
