It is not too early to begin to plan next year’s 2026 camping trips. We need volunteers to host the five trips (one/month from May through September). Thus far, we have Bob & Karen Jones on board for Stagecoach State Park, June 14-19.
I know it is hard to plan far into the future, but I would like to pencil in the trips. Given the six-month ahead reservation window, the May trip would have to be reserved next month. I am thinking, unless I hear another suggestion, of going to Trinidad State Park, partly because going south seems safer weather-wise.
If anyone is willing to host a trip for May, July, August, or September, please contact me. We can return to past popular locations (Lottis Creek, State Forest, Golden Gate Canyon, etc.) or choose new places to explore.
