CAMPING NEWS, PAST AND FUTURE

Our Mueller campers had a wonderful time in the fall foliage in mid-September, with lots of socializing, numerous hikes, plus a side trip to Victor. It was a bit chilly, so we discussed moving the trip up a week for 2025. Let me know your views on that; my email is avocatte@msn.com. 

We are putting together next year’s schedule already (a necessity to meet the six-month deadline for the May trip, for which reservations should be made in November).

Based on feedback I received, plus a good amount of research into appealing campsites, trying to stick to those with electric hookups, and avoiding driving through Denver if possible, the following is our tentative 2025 camping schedule:

• June 15-18; Lottis Creek, near Gunnison; hosts Lisa Powell & James Taylor (lpowell879@gmail.com)
• July 13-16; Golden Gate Canyon State Park; hosts Debbie & Rick Mraz (DebbieMraz007@gmail.com or rickmraz@hotmail.com)
• August 17-20; Steamboat Lake; hosts Jim & Terry Marquart (jmarquart@gmail.com)
• September 14-17; Mueller State Park; HOST NEEDED
