Hiking – BISON PEAK VIA UTE CREEK TRAIL

BISON PEAK VIA UTE CREEK TRAIL, Tarryall/Bailey, CO.  Trailhead: Ute Creek Trailhead, Tarryall Rd/Hwy 77   (coordinates: 39.1980967, -105.5534552).  Hike start time:  7:30  AM.  Hike length 11.6  mi, elev gain 3,730  ft, highest altitude 12,392 ft.  Challenging.* This is a tough hike due to the length and elevation gain, but the views from the top are spectacular. In addition to the stunning view of Pikes Peak are unique rock formations.  We will have a long well-deserved rest at the broad, flat area at the base of the Bison Peak rocks.  Gisele Miyamoto  hike leader.
