AUSTIN BLUFFS OPEN SPACE Close to Pulpit Rock, COS. Trailhead: Spine Trailhead, 2611 Rockhurst Blvd (coordinates: 38.899273, -104.796162). Hike start time: 10:00 AM. Hike length 3.5 mi, elev gain 360 ft, highest altitude 6,700 ft. Moderate. We will be going along the eastern fringes and rim of this open space, not the western Pulpit Rock area. There are great views along the way of the surrounding Front Range area and, of course, Pulpit Rock. Mike Witter hike leader.
